These devoted friends of the Phippen provide ancillary support for all aspects of the Museum’s operation, including admissions, tours, art education, exhibitions, special events, and The Outback museum store.

Volunteering at the Phippen Museum offers the chance to engage with art, history, and culture, while making a real impact in the community. With flexible opportunities that fit your schedule, you gain access to unique experiences, build meaningful connections, and contribute to enriching the visitor experience.
Museum SupportGallery Guardian (Curatorial Assistant) ☆ Assist with exhibit preparation and art collection maintenance on a project-by-project or seasonal basis. Exhibit Explorer (Docent) ☆ Guide tours and assist with educational outreach programs, particularly during peak seasons or special exhibits.
Maintenance Mavericks (Facilities) ☆ Help maintain and improve the museum's infrastructure on an ongoing or seasonal basis, including during major events. Hospitality Hero (Front Desk) ☆ Provide welcoming support and manage visitor interactions year-round or during specific busy times.
Celebration Crew (Events & Hospitality) ☆ Lend a hand during evening events and special gatherings by greeting guests, serving refreshments, or assisting with event setup or cleanup as needed. Admin Ace (Office Assistance) ☆ Provide administrative support by preparing bulk mailings, entering data, and managing filing tasks on an as-needed basis.
Learning Leaders (Youth Programming) ☆ Help with art workshops, school field trips, and hands-on activities, teaching children about Western art, history, and culture on an as-needed basis. |
