Special events and programming at Phippen Museum are presented on a regular basis to enhance Joe Wiegand as Teddy Rooseveltand complement the current and permanent exhibits on display.
Our special events include the annual Fall Gathering celebration, commemorating the museum's Grand Opening in 1984 and our unique Third Thursday Dinner programs, featuring special guests and Western aficionados. And our Art and Heritage conversations are extremely popular interactive presentations delivered by nationally-recognized experts, award-winning presenters and local authorities on Western art, heritage and culture, including authors, artists, re-enactors, musicians, historians, poets, working cowboys and many others. But the best aspect of these special conversations is that they are FREE with your museum membership, and also included in the cost of admission for guests.
So special thanks to all the talented individuals and groups who have offered their insight and experiences for the entertainment of the museum's audiences, including the great group of speakers, historians and experts with Arizona Humanities.
