​Prescott, AZ – Get ready to be captivated by the extraordinary world of miniature art as the Phippen Museum proudly presents its 23rd Annual Miniature Masterpiece Show & Sale. From May 1st through May 31st, 2026, art lovers, collectors, and curious visitors alike will enjoy an exclusive opportunity to explore a breathtaking collection of small-scale, museum-quality fine art created by more than 70 of today’s most celebrated artists in American Western Art.

This eagerly anticipated culminates in a Sale-by-Draw event that offers a rare chance to own exquisite works distinguished by remarkable craftsmanship, intricate detail, and powerful storytelling—proving that great art can come in small packages. So, whether you’re a seasoned collector or discovering miniature art for the first time, these exceptional pieces promise to inspire and delight.

How to Participate

Come to the Opening Reception on Friday, May 1st at 5:30 PM, an unforgettable evening featuring tasty appetizers, a lively cash bar and the opportunity to meet and mingle with participating artists

Admission is free for museum members, and $20 for guests.

As part of a spectacular May celebration of Western Art, the Phippen Museum will also host their 52nd Annual Western Art Show & Sale on Memorial Day weekend (May 23rd – 25th) at the picturesque Yavapai County Courthouse Plaza. This FREE, family-friendly outdoor art festival features over 100 of the nation’s finest western artists, thrilling Quick Draw Challenges with Live Art Auctions, a Kids Art Tent, the Hometown Hoedown Dinner at the Museum, and free admission to the Phippen Museum—all made possible by the generous support of the James Family Foundation, the Yavapai-Prescott Indian Tribe, Findlay Toyota, The Frame & I, and many more generous community-minded sponsors.
