The Phippen Museum is offering a new series of workshops for young people ages 7 to 17. These "Youth Conversations" will compliment the Museum's current exhibit and offer participants a more in-depth and hands-on approach to the typical museum experience. The first in this series is about photography to coincide with our new Fresh Eyes: Photographic Talent of the West exhibit. Space is limited so pre-registration is recommended.

Both Youth Conversations will feature a guided tour of our current exhibit and a class on taking photographs. All materials, including cameras, will be provided by the Museum.

Participants will be automatically entered in the Phippen Art Docent's Future Cowboy Artists Junior Photography Contest. Participants in the Youth Conversation will take photos in and around the Phippen Museum with cameras provided by the museum. Those photos will be judged by a panel of Prescott Art Docents and two winners will be selected. The winning photos will be announced at the end of the Fresh Eyes: Photographic Talent of the West.

The Museum is located just minutes from down town Prescott, at 4701 Highway 89 North, Prescott, 86301. Museum hours are 10:00 am to 4:00pm Tuesday through Saturday and 1:00pm to 4:00pm on Sunday. Admission is $5.00 for Adults; $4.00 for seniors and Students; Kids under 12 are free!
