PRESCOTT, AZ The Phippen Museum is very pleased to announce the next exhibit, Winners' Roundup to be displayed beginning Saturday, February 24 through Sunday, July 8.

Winners' Roundup is one of the most ambitious exhibitions ever assembled at the Phippen Museum. This exhibit represents a compilation of award-winning work from professional artists, who have received awards from the past 32 years of the Phippen Museum Annual Western Art Show & Sale. This exhibit recognizes the artists who have participated in the show over Memorial Day Weekend in downtown Prescott at the Courthouse Plaza.

Winners' Roundup includes over 100 pieces in oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, drawing, mixed media and sculpture on display in the Main Gallery and Cultural Hall of the Museum. Many currently collectible and well known artists, further built up their careers with the recognition gained in the Phippen Memorial Day Western Art Show.

Over 95 award winning artists works will be on display including: Bill Anton, Shawn Cameron, Bonnie Casey, G. Russell Case, Patricia Dobson John Coleman, Gene Dieckhoner, Don Dernovich, Tom Haas, Doug Hall, Russell Houston, Raleigh Kinney, Steven Lang, Jan Mapes, Curt Mattson, Bill Nebeker, Rock Newcomb, Ray Roberts, Lyn St. Clair, Ray Swanson and D. Michael Thomas.

If the original piece of award winning art was no longer available for exhibition, the artists have been asked to submit a similar piece in the same genre and medium as the original award winning piece requested. The show presents an excellent opportunity to revisit old favorites by renowned artists, as well as the chance to enjoy new work by emerging and seasoned professionals.

The exhibit can be previewed by lenders, artists and Museum members at the opening reception on Friday, February 23, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Phippen Art Museum. Members may attend free of charge, $10 for guests.
