The Phippen Museum Offers Docent Led Tours with Admission

Prescott, AZ - The Phippen Museum announced beginning September 1, the Phippen Museum art docents will conduct public tours of current exhibits. The public tour will be offered the first Saturday of every month at 2:00 PM and will be free with the price of admission. No reservations are required. The Phippen Museum is open Tuesday-Saturday 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Sunday 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Admission prices are $5.00 Adults; $4.00 Senior Citizens, Students, AAA members; Children under 12 free.

Currently featured at the Phippen Museum is Western Art the Cowboy-showcasing the art of Bill Nebeker, CA, and Robert "Shoofly" Shufelt. This exhibit runs now through Oct. 28, 2007.

The Phippen Museum is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit with the mission to preserve and exhibit museum quality Western art, and educate the public about the unique heritage, history, legends, and influence of art of the American West. The Museum opened in 1984 and was named after Arizona resident and founding member of the Cowboy Artists of America, George Phippen.
