Cast Away: the secret of bronze sculpture workshop is part of the Phippen Museum's continuing series of "Youth Art Conversations." These are art classes for young people meant to complement the Museum's exhibits and offer participants a more in-depth and hands-on approach to the typical museum experience. This Art Conversation gives kids the opportunity to learn about sculpture and bronze casting to coincide with our current exhibit Western Art the Cowboy Way that features the works of local sculptor Bill Nebeker, CA, and pencil artists Robert "shoofly" Shufelt. The exhibit runs until October 28, 2007 at the Phippen Museum.
