The Best of the Phippen Collection

Responding to requests from many visitors and supporters, selected works will be featured on a rotating basis. Space constraints preclude showing even half the Permanent Collection at one time, thus the rotating arrangement, extended over several months. This will include numerous works of art not exhibited for many years, as well as many recent acquisitions, accompanied by weekend programs relating to works and artists in the Permanent Collection.

Cowboy Artist, John Coleman, will elaborate on his philosophy of art and how a museum can wisely acquire pieces to enhance and enrich its collection and reputation.
-Public "Walk Through" of exhibit
Sunday, March 20, from 2-4 p.m
This docent-led tour will provide an educational discussion on the historic and artistic value of the more prominent pieces in the collection.
